The message you are receiving "Your institutional lending limit has been met"  indicates that Sonoma County Library's daily lending limit has been reached.

This daily limit resets at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time/PDT each day and you should be able to resume borrowing content after it resets. Please try again after 5 p.m.

  1. Hi there - thanks for your question. The reason you're seeing this message despite not having used the service for a while is that it's unrelated to your personal account. The limit you're seeing is one set on the entire county--it means that we've reached a maximum limit for that particular day *for everyone*. We have that limit for financial reasons. Luckily, we don't hit this limit very often anymore, so usually you can try again later and it will work. I hope this helps!
