The library discontinued its traditional Interlibrary Loan (ILL) effective July 1, 2020, however we are pleased to continue offering free access to LINK+, which meets the majority of the resource sharing needs of our patrons and provides access to over 7 million titles.

Following nationwide disruptions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, many public and academic libraries made cuts to their operations and staffing, conditions that continue making it difficult to successfully fill interlibrary loan requests for books and articles. Additionally, the cost of postage, mailing supplies, and the software used for interlibrary loan borrowing and lending all increased during this time – approximately 60% in total for Sonoma County Library.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to continuing to serve you and your resource sharing needs.

If LINK+ does not have the material you are looking for, please try these online resources. They offer some access to digital editions of out-of-print items.
