The Sonoma County Library system offers several options for patrons to access digital books (eBooks) and digital audiobooks (eAudiobooks) with a valid library card.

You can access eLibrary collections in a few ways.

To access eBooks and eAudiobooks, help guides, and online tutorials from our website:

1. Go to sonomalibrary.org

2. Click the Download / Stream button on the homepage.

This page has all of the eContent vendors to which we currently subscribe. Each vendor has a different type of collection, and a different way to stream or download a title onto your device.

You can click on the "More" links below each vendor to learn more about that collection, find quick start guides and online tutorials for each device type.

In addition, each vendor has their own HELP pages with detailed how-to guides. Click on the "GO" button to access a collection.

To access eBooks and eAudiobooks in our catalog:

eBooks and eAudiobooks are listed in our catalog along with all other formats of a title, search by title, author or keyword and any eBook or eAudiobook version will be included in the book records in your search results.

For example: Searching for My Invented Country by Isabel Allende will pull up the eBook and print book in the same spot.
