I returned my book or other library item, but it hasn’t been checked in yet!

 During a system upgrade, staff cannot check in any returned library materials between July 27 and August 4. If you return items to the library, they will be kept safe by staff and checked in after August 4. 

Answer

During a system upgrade, returned library materials cannot be checked in between July 27 and August 4. Because of the expected backlog, it may take two weeks or more for staff to check in returns after the upgrade is complete. Items may still show as “checked out” on your library account. However, staff will take care of all returned items and check them in as soon as possible after August 4. The library never charges overdue fines! We apologize for this temporary inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we upgrade our library system.
